Chillin' on the Chesapeake

Yesterday we motor sailed (mostly) to Mobjack Bay.  We are anchored back in the North River of Mobjack Bay.  We had a nice motor sail, just not much wind.  The kids get sleepy when we are out in open water.  Evan passed out around 9:00 a.m. for 2 1/2 hours.

Zachary wanted to take a nap, but just squirmed a bit and then got up.  We got here in the early afternoon.  We relaxed a bit, waited for a thundershower to pass, then Ryan took the kids for a dinghy ride.

There a impressive homes all around here, but no place to go ashore, unfortunately.  The homes look like Kennedys and friends live here.  It's quite beautiful here, and peaceful too.  It's a nice break from the marinas.

For dinner I finally got to enjoy some of that mahi mahi that Ryan caught on the way here.  It was wonderful.  After dinner we played on deck and took a family portrait.  Today we are moving on to Fisherman's Bay.

Zachary wants to send a special shout out to his friends Ian and Banks, who are reading the blog (thanks, Paige!).  He says, "I am having a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to playing with you when I get home."
